Who We Are

American Paint & Paper is a division of STRATTON & SONS INC and is owned and operated by the family of the late Thomas J. Stratton. His sons Joshua and Charles have over 30 years of qualified painting and wallpapering experience. They are now the fourth generation to follow in the profession, both benefiting from hands-on training from their father. Their pride in family heritage and their profession has served well in growing a company of conscientious and quality-minded personnel with a team spirit. That pride has been displayed in the successful completion of over 3000 painting and wallpapering jobs in the Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois region.

Our Process

Our Company knows how irritating it is when you call some contractors and leave messages that don’t get returned. When you call American Paint & Paper, if you don’t reach someone immediately, just leave a message and your telephone call will be returned within one business day. Typically, someone is in our office weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Mathew will gladly help you with setting up our next available appointment for a free quote. Then our estimator will come out, look over your project, and address any concerns. Within one week you will receive a detailed, computer-generated, itemized estimate based on his meeting with you.

We have experienced, qualified personnel to provide the quality service that you would expect to receive from a professional painting contractor. Our employees are very conscientious and will work with you to ensure that your job will be done in a neat, organized and timely manner. Both Charles and Josh have the reputation for being some of the best wallpaper hangers in the region. Our Company and our employees are fully insured, and personnel are paid hourly, (not by the job), so your job will get the full attention that it deserves.
